1. Warming Up: From Steinitzsteg to Langenzersdorf
We start our tour at Steinitzsteg and take the flat bike path parallel to the Danube to ease into the ride. We roll leisurely into Langenzersdorf , where we can chat comfortably side by side.
2. Into the Vineyards: Langenzersdorf – Bisamberg – Klein-Engersdorf
From Langenzersdorf, we continue on to the village of Bisamberg . The scenery now shifts from the river to the first vineyards. We head toward Klein-Engersdorf along quiet paths, where the landscape gradually becomes hillier.
3. The challenging stretch: From Klein-Engersdorf to Hagenbrunn
Now the slightly more challenging part awaits us. The trail leads us slightly uphill toward Hagenbrunn. Here, we make sure to maintain a steady pace so that we stay together as a tight-knit group.
4. The Leisurely Stage: From Hagenbrunn to Stammersdorf
After the climb, we reward ourselves with the ride to Stammersdorf . We reach the famous Stammersdorf Kellergasse.
5. The Cool-Down: Stammersdorf – Langenzersdorf – Steinitzsteg
The route heads out of Stammersdorf on flat terrain and back to Langenzersdorf . We’ll use the final stretch to Steinitzsteg for a leisurely ride along the Danube.
