Would you like to learn badminton and finally hit the shuttle properly?
Our beginner training is exactly what you’re looking for!
In small groups of up to 4 people, you will learn the basics step by step:
proper footwork
your first shots to simple game situations
how to serve properly
the game rules
and much, much more!
The fee for this training is 16€ and includes the trainer, the shuttles and the court booking for one hour.
Here are the steps to participate in the training:
register in the event (here)
pay in advance the registration fee by Friday evening before the training using this link : https://pay.sumup.com/b2c/Q2PKK0L1
We cannot cancel the course in the last 24 hours, so we have to pay the instructor and the courts even if you don't come. If by Friday end of day you are still registered in the event, you acknowledge that you will pay the participaton fee.
Recommendation: Since you learn and build knowledge together as a group, attending at least 4 consecutive sessions is ideal . This way, you can grow as a team, benefit from each other, and make faster progress.
Who is this training for? Anyone with little or no prior experience, but a willingness to learn how to properly play badminton!
The training is done in both German and English.
Come a bit earlier so you have time to change into workout/sports clothes. The locker rooms are free to use, but for the men lockers you need a padlock - or you can also take your bag of clothes upstairs to the courts if you do not have a padlock. Also, please bring:
clean indoor sports shoes (no black soles)
your racket or you can rent one from the club, if necessary (4€)
and a water bottle
After the training , we are hosting our weekly Badminton Sunday event. You can use the opportunity to train and practice the skills you learned (separate event registration required in advance!).
If you are joining our events for the first time, WELCOME! Let the host know that you are new and they will tell you the basic need-to-knows of our community!
Without further ado - let's learn how to play badminton and have some fun together!
