Welcome!! This group is for those who are interested in the local music scene in Venice, Sarasota, Englewood, Punta Gorda and surrounding areas. We will post local live music events regularly for all of us to get together to attend. All members are welcome to attend and anyone is welcome to host!! We have an incredible music scene down here in Southwest Florida, this group is designed to experience those talents and support our local musicians!!!
Note that effective October 2024, all members will receive a 60-day trial period to ensure our group meets your interests. If you choose to remain a member, there is a $5 annual membership fee. I trust that you will receive at least $5 worth of entertainment from our group each year!!!!!! 😊

Join us this Sunday afternoon at 12:30pm to see the Alex Lopez Band perform at the Twisted Fork in Port Charlotte. They will be doing a 90-minute set, with another band following them at 2:30pm.
There is no cover charge for this show and we have a reserved table for our group. We just ask that you order some food and drink and take good care of the wait staff.
Several of us saw Alex and his band open for the Santana Tribute band we saw in Venice a few weeks back, and we were blown away by the awesome music Alex plays. Many of their songs are their originals, with a mix of blues, rock, and funk.

Ben Prestage is a solo artist from the deep woods of south Florida and plays an amazing set of Deep South Swamp Music that only a true Floridian can perform. He has performed at, and won numerous awards at blues and folk festivals across the nation and around the world.
I’ve seen him play a while back at the Myakka Blues Festival, and I’m glad to see him making a local appearance once again. Come out to hear and see Ben perform something totally different from our usual musical experience (rock, blues), and I promise you will be delightfully entertained.
No reserved seating, all seats are first come first serve. I strongly recommend arriving at least 45 mins before show time to ensure a seat!
