Following a GREAT July event with Shamagika, we return to the Goddess for a very special evening gathering and a museum visit in August.
Join us for Pan's Picnic (bring your own beverage and/or your favorite snack) with a conversation about all things magical in Valencia followed by a visit to the GODDESS exhibition at CaixaForum before it closes at the end of the month.
Come to explore sacred art and/or to meet other expats and English speakers who are interested in all things esoteric and mythic. The whole experience should take about two hours, before the heat sets in.
The exhibition highlights the many faces of feminine power, including goddesses, spirits, demons, and saints, figures who have been venerated, feared and beloved throughout history and who have deeply influenced entire cultures and people's daily lives.
We will gather in the Turia park at the level of the City of Arts & Sciences (exact location pin provided prior to the meeting) for sips, snacks, and convo and then go visit the exhibition together.
The gathering cost is free/donation. The exhibition itself is 6 euros (free for clients of Caixa Bank).

The Gaza Biennale is a decentralised exhibition, founded in Palestine and realized in multiple places worldwide, the Gaza Biennale transpires as a global exhibition that takes works from Gaza around the world, while the artworks take people around the world on a journey to Gaza.
The Valencia Pavilion of the Gaza Biennale exhibition brings together the voices of artists from Gaza—voices that speak not through press releases or news footage, but through brushstrokes, camera lenses, and creative gestures formed in the midst of rupture. In a time when Gaza is most often represented by numbers, statistics, and overhead footage, this exhibition insists on seeing differently: through the eyes of those living, creating, and enduring its realities.
This exhibition invites viewers to look closely—not just at the art, but at what lies beneath it: lives disrupted and remade, voices that persist. It asks us to see Gaza not as an abstraction of war, but as a place of people, culture, and imagination. In doing so, it affirms the enduring power of art to cross borders, carry memory, and connect us in our shared humanity.
