JetBrains GameDev Day 2025 + Unity game dev night

This time we're combining our game dev night with JetBrains GameDev Day 2025 (online) which is happening the same day.

Note that we open doors already 16:30 this time, to be able to watch sessions from 17:00

Idea is that you can come and watch JetBrains sessions, work on your Unity projects or do a mix of that - all in company with other local game devs 🙂

Program:
16.30: Doors opening, sandwiches and mingling
17:00 Welcome and practical stuff

Track 1 - JetBrains sessions:
- 17:10–17:30 Demo from JetBrains (AI)
- 17:40–18:40 Introduction to Netcode for Entities (Johnny Thompson - Turbo Makes Games)
- 18:50–19:20 Power-Up Your Team: Soft Skills That Level Up Game Dev Collaboration
- 19:30–20:30 Deploying Your Studio With the Cloud Game Development Toolkit
Track 2 - game dev night, work on your Unity projects
- 17:00 - 21:30: our usual meeting room is available, where people can work on Unity projects, getting help from others, knowledge share etc
21.30: Venue closing

We're working with JetBrains to get trial licenses for their AI tools, more information on this later

If attending game dev night part, then bring your laptop with your Unity project to collaborate, learn from fellow developers, and address any challenges you may have.

The intention with this meetup is to help the community grow by sharing experience and knowledge. We are meetup participants at all levels, from indie hobby developers to people professionally working on projects under NDA. Even for professional game developers that cannot bring their current projects, we still hope you will attend, and share the Unity tips and tricks, that could have helped you earlier in your career.
