United Animal Friends (UAF) provide rescue programs and services to animals and those who care for them. Services include, but not limited to, low-cost group training classes, pack walks, adoption events, etc.

Level 2 Group Class
UAF Ranch, 2600 Heckethorn Road, Prescott, az, USCompletion of LEVEL 1 SERIES or LEVEL UP is a prerequisite for this class.
**CLASS START TIME IS AT 8:30 AM. Dog playgroup before class is limited to those who weed the training area. **This Level 2 group class will expand on methods and exercises introduced in Level 1, as well as:
- Engagement and obedience exercises, including extended sit/down stays
- Short pack walks
- Dog agility or similar exercises requiring a dog to jump, balance, or perform physical tasks
- Dog tricks
- Calming exercises
- Skills needed for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification
All participants must be familiar and follow the group class rules and guidelines. A completed Contact & Release form must also be on file.
When you RSVP, you'll be asked "Are you bringing anyone?" Leave the number at 0 unless you plan to bring more than one dog. Each dog must have his/her own dedicated adult handler. Cost is $10/dog.
If you cannot attend the class, please cancel your registration ASAP and preferably 24 hours before the scheduled date/time to give a person on the waitlist ample notice

Level 1 Group Class (11/8, 11/15, 11/22)
UAF Ranch, 2600 Heckethorn Road, Prescott, az, US**RSVP CLOSED. THIS IS CLASS 2 OF 3.**
BEFORE YOU REGISTER FOR THIS CLASS, please:
- Complete and *submit* a Contact & Release Form. Disregard if you've already submitted one prior.
- Review the group class rules and guidelines.
- Click *Attend* in this event to hold your spot.
THIS SERIES WILL TAKE PLACE 3 CONSECUTIVE SATURDAYS (specifically (11/8, 11/15, and 11/22). Classes are held outdoors; if weather prevents us from moving forward, the class will be rescheduled for the next Saturday. If you cannot attend any of these days, do NOT register for this class. There is no refund or rescheduling of a missed class or cancellation. Participants must pay $30 at the first class and will be auto-enrolled for the 2nd and 3rd classes.
This Level 1 series is intended for pups 6 months and older. We will go over introduction to training methods, marker words, and foundational exercises (sit, down, come, place).
Class size is limited to 12 dogs. When you RSVP, you'll be asked "Are you bringing anyone?" Leave the number at 0 unless you plan to bring more than one dog. If you wish to bring a 2nd dog, you must have a 2nd handler who has his/her own Meetup account who must also RSVP. Cost is $10/dog x 3 consecutive weekend days = $30 collected at the first class. An email will be sent a few days before the series begins, which includes directions to the facility, parking, etc.

In this playful introduction to nose work, your dog will learn how to tap into their amazing sense of smell using simple, everyday items you already have at home — think boxes, beach towel, muffin tins, and more!
Whether your pup is a curious puppy, a high-energy explorer, or a wise old sniffer, this class is designed to engage their brain, burn off energy, and build confidence in a fun, relaxed way. Cost is $25 per dog - paid at class (exact change preferred or check payable to Sammi Maon).🐾Benefits of Nose Work

Puppies, seniors, high-energy dogs, couch potatoes — even dogs recovering from injury can benefit.👜What to Bring
- 🐕🦺 Your dog on a leash (no retractable!)
- 🍗 High-value treats and your dog's evening meal
- 🏖️ Beach towel - make sure it's colorful!
- 🧺 Small containers or boxes – such as Tupperware, shoeboxes, or cardboard boxes
- 🧁Cupcake/muffin tin and balls (as many balls as you have)
📌Do no feed your dog after 10AM on the day of the class.
Limited to 8 dogs. The class is held in a retail space, so dogs should be comfortable in an enclosed area. Note: this class is NOT ideal for dogs who are especially difficult to handle.
