Bird Photography Bootcamp: The Migration Begins with Bobby Stormer
The Grand Hotel, 1045 Beach Avenue, Cape May, NJ, USKick off our 3rd annual Bird Photography Bootcamp at the Grand Hotel of Cape May! In this introduction, our very own Bobby Stormer will walk you through the weekend’s agenda, locations, and another exciting Creators Challenge. You’ll also gain insight into why Cape May is considered one of the top birding destinations in the world—its rich history, unique geography, and vital role during fall migration.
We’ll explore the incredible variety of species we may encounter, from tiny warblers and majestic hawks to waterfowl and even owls. Bobby will touch on the key factors he considers most important for creating standout wildlife images: working with light, mastering composition, capturing animal behavior, and always being prepared in the field.
This session will set the tone for the weekend, giving you the tools and inspiration to make the most of your time in Cape May—where the possibilities for bird photography are endless.
