Wir sind eine Wandergruppe aus dem Raum Stuttgart/Tübingen. Etwa einmal im Monat organisieren wir eine Tageswanderung in der Umgebung. Alle, die Natur und nette Gesellschaft mögen, sind herzlich willkommen. Komm mit auf den Weg!
We’re a hiking group based in the Stuttgart/Tübingen area. We organize one local day hike per month and welcome everyone who enjoys nature and good company. Come join us on the trail!

Midsummer alpine hike near Oberstdorf

⏰ Start: around 11:30 am in Oberstdorf. There will be a group taking the train from Tübingen and likely even from Karlsruhe!
🗺️ Route: to be determined, start and end in Oberstdorf
Do you have any plans for the longest day of 2026? If you are not celebrating Midsommar in Sweden this year, why not join us in making the most out of your 16 hours of daylight by going all the way to Oberstdorf and back for a fabulous hike in the Alps!
We are a group of hikers based all around Baden-Württemberg who are planning to to a day trip to the Bavarian Alps this summer. We have not finalized the exact details of this tour yet - if you want to join the hike there is is still time to chime in – but the general outline is that we plan to take a train fairly early in the morning of the 21st of June from our respective starting points to Oberstdorf (or a car, for some) so that we arrive ca 11:30, go on a hopefully spectacular hike there, and then return from around 6 pm in the evening. If that sounds like a good idea to you, make sure to sign up today!
All mountain lovers and hikers welcome. 😊⛰️✨
🎒 What to bring:
- Functional shoes with good grip and profile
- Sun protection
- Water and ideally some food
- Maybe a second layer of clothing because it can be cold in the mountains
- Walking sticks and proper hiking boots are a good idea but not strictly necessary
⚠️⛰️ As everyone knows, hiking in the mountains is never without risk. Please bring appropriate equipment. We are not mountaineers ourselves, so we are going to stay on easy to moderate trails and won't do any climbing. But please make sure you have some basic sure-footedness, and stay careful on the trail!
