Tropical Trekkers Meetup Group

The Tropical Trekkers group is a chapter of the Florida Trail Association drawing members from Martin, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee counties. Our purpose is to maintain a section of the Florida National Scenic Trail that extends from the northern shore of Lake Okeechobee through Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park. We also maintain local trails in Seabranch Preserve State Park, Halpatiokee Regional Park, and the Raphael Sanchez Trail near Lake O. We also host social hikes and other events for the enjoyment of our members.
