In Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich” originally published back in the 1937, he posited a radical notion. “Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”
Recent studies on neuroplasticity give credence to this idea that directing our mind and attention toward a state of new possibilities can actually rewire well worn neural pathways and create an actual new future for ourselves.
But in our current society where productivity is a cultural value, how do we create space to do the rewiring?
Join Tom as he leads a the group in a discussion where we will explore the power of possibility available to each of us when we begin directing our minds to a definite end. We will also explore methods that can be used to create this space in our busy lives.

• We are a nonpartisan, non-denominational space. People from all walks of life are welcome. Personal experiences may include politics or religion, but no ideology—political, religious, or otherwise—should be promoted or belittled.
• We show up as both teachers and students. Please review any shared resources before the session. We look forward to hearing your reflections, reactions, and perspectives. While we explore different perspectives, you are encouraged to take in what speaks to you and release what doesn’t.
• Speak from personal experience. Use “I” language. Share what’s true for you without trying to fix, assume, advise, or preach—unless invited. Avoid stating opinions as facts. When you frame your truth as your experience, it leaves room for others to share theirs.
• Avoid assumptions. Don’t assume others share your background, values, or beliefs. Our diversity is a strength. Speaking as if we all think alike can make others feel excluded or unsafe.
• You are welcome to bring your real experiences—with purpose. If you’ve ever felt unseen, misunderstood, or worn down by life and the state of the world, you are not alone. Bring what’s real in the spirit of healing and learning. We name pain, not to vent or complain without direction, but to seek clarity, understanding, and transformation.
• Practice equity of voice. Be mindful of how much space you’re holding. If you speak often, consider stepping back. If you’re usually quiet, know your voice matters—we’d love to hear from you.
• Welcome disagreements as part of growth. When conflict arises, pause. Acknowledge what others are sharing, and respond with curiosity, not certainty. Aim for connection, not correction.
• Let this space ripple outward. What’s learned here, we hope transforms not only ourselves, but our families, communities, and beyond. This space is sacred—not because it is perfect, but because we hold it together.
Thank you for visiting! To learn more, visit www.tribeofonelove.com. - How to Lead and Hold Space, Tribe StyleWashburn Library , Minneapolis, MN
Join our discussion and activity on how to lead and hold space, Tribe style. Together, we’ll reflect on the kinds of leadership and participation that nourish us, the habits that get in the way, and how we can grow into community members who lead and follow with care, clarity, and courage.
Objectives
- Reflect on the leadership and participation styles that have helped us feel seen, safe, and inspired—and those that haven’t.
- Explore the core qualities of Tribe-style leadership and participation, and what it means to hold space with presence and love.
- Learn how to embody these qualities through real examples, small group discussion, and self-awareness.
- Grow our ability to lovingly shift away from habits that undermine connection, safety, or collective growth.
- Commit to one personal intention—whether as a leader, participant, or both—to bring into future Tribe experiences.
Leadership within Tribe of One Love isn’t about being the loudest voice or the most polished speaker. It’s about how we show up, how we hold space for others, and how we stay grounded in love—even when things are messy, vulnerable, or uncertain. Holding space is a sacred act—it means being present without trying to fix, leading without controlling, and inviting growth without shame.
And leadership isn’t just for facilitators. Every participant shapes the circle. How we listen, how we share, how we support one another—these are acts of participatory leadership in a love-centered space.

- Tea Time: A Circle of Feeling and ExpressionEdina Library, Main Conference Room - , Edina, MN
Join our Tea Time—a slow, sacred pause in our fast-paced lives.
This is an opportunity to check in with your heart, speak from the “I,” and be witnessed without judgment or interruption. Together, we will practice how to allow feelings, sit with emotion, and articulate what lives within us.This is not a place to analyze, advise, or fix—but to honor the truth of what we feel and build emotional fluency in a loving community.
We will be guided in through a feelings-based discussion, where every share—no matter how small—is sacred. You’re welcome to speak, to listen, or to simply be.How it Works
Each person shares using the form:
“I feel [emotion] because [reason].”
Examples:- “I feel hopeful because something in me is healing.”
- “I feel anxious because I don’t know what comes next.”
- “I feel grateful because someone really saw me this week.”
Guidelines
- Keep it brief. Stay close to the feeling.
- Only one person speaks at a time.
- If no one responds. We practice sacred silence and presence.
Agreements for the Circle
- Use “I feel… because…” to speak from your own experience.
- No crosstalk. No advice, no fixing, no responses.
- Honor confidentiality. This is a safe and sacred space.
- All emotions are welcome. Nothing is too much or too small.
- Silence is participation. You may pass and simply listen.
