About us

We're a casual group of people who share a passion for retro computers and want to learn from each other. Whether you're into 8-bit machines, classic operating systems, vintage programming languages, or just fascinated by how computers used to work, you'll find kindred spirits here. We get together to tinker, share knowledge, and figure things out together. No gatekeeping, no pretensionβ€”just folks who think old computers are cool and want to explore them hands-on.

Our meetups are pretty laid back. Sometimes we'll dive into a specific topic like restoring hardware, writing code on period-appropriate systems, or tracking down obscure software. Other times we just bring our projects and machines, swap stories, and help each other troubleshoot whatever we're working on. You might learn how to get a Commodore running again, pick up some Assembly language, or hear about someone's collection. We're here to share skills and make this stuff accessible to anyone curious enough to show up.

Whether you're an experienced collector or just picked up your first retro computer last week, there's a place for you here. Come share what you know, ask questions, and connect with people who geek out over the same stuff you do.
