Welcome to The Retro Computing Collective for Everyone. This is a space for anyone who has an interest in vintage hardware, legacy software, or the early days of personal computing. Whether you still have your childhood machine tucked away in a closet, you enjoy tinkering with emulators, or you are simply curious about how we got to where we are today, you are welcome here. We believe that technology history is best enjoyed when shared, and our goal is to create a friendly environment where we can trade stories, troubleshoot tricky hardware, and geek out over beige towers and mechanical keyboards.
Our meetups are relaxed, informal, and open to all skill levels. You do not need to be an engineer or a collector to join us; all you need is a bit of curiosity. We usually spend our time showing off current projects, helping each other solve technical hurdles, and discussing the evolution of the machines that shaped the industry. If you have been looking for a community of like-minded people to talk shop with, or if you are looking for an excuse to pull that old computer out of storage, we hope you will join us for our next gathering.
