Although relatively new to the property scene, Vicky is a living, breathing example of what can be achieved by showing up, being interested, and being helpful. After months of showing up to networking + industry events around the north, Vicky and her husband James managed to secure multiple properties without having to splash too much of their own cash... This was via Rent to SA agreements with landlords, providing a guaranteed "hands off" income for the owners, then taking over the full management of them to secure higher income via Serviced Accommodation (SA) bookings to make money from properties they didn't own!
Fast forward 6 months, Vicky is now editor of a well-known property magazine, leaving her corporate role, and they both now manage other people's SA units. The snowball effect in full action, and a real story of success.
She'll be here to help others thinking of taking that leap into SA, or securing properties to manage for yourselves to build a little income for your own portfolios.🔥Jonny Landels🔥
Again, Jonny is an example of what is achievable by relentless networking, connecting with and helping others. A regular helper at Leeds PIN, Jonny went all guns blazing into R2SA, taking on a monster 5-bed property in a desirable rural Yorkshire Dales location, which he has turned into a fitness & wellness retreat. He has had to have faith in himself, and in creating this concept though, as his monthly payment to the landloard is nearly £3k!!
But... the flipside of this and in creating something unique is that the property has generated over £30k NET PROFIT in it's first year!!! That's enough to pretty much replace the average UK salary in just one deal, and without owning the property!!!
Obviously he's not stopping there though. Imagine what he will be able to build within the next 5 years! 🚀Strap yourselves in for this one!!!!

“We're 2 property junkies who've been brought together through our mutual love all things, well, property. We first met at a well known nationally branded networking event in the North East and realised what an invaluable yet underutilised resource these things can be. The demise of some of the larger property networking events in the area left a big hole in our social calendars, so what better way to change this than start our own so The Property Thing was born...Paul Million: a landlord and developer of more than 30 years now, has built a formidable reputation as a creative dealmaker, taker of nothing less than perfection in his property developments, and he has also started the LOAF podcast, interviewing great people from all walks of life, learning what makes them tick, what challenges they have overcome, and how best others can succeed despite the challenges life throws their way.
Anthony Boyce: a developer & investor with over 20 years architectural industry experience is a lover of adding value to property & development projects, having tackled anything from BTLs to Holiday Parks. He is also know to start the odd businesses & build brands - 81 North Design (Architecture) & 81 North Interiors (Interior Design), and loves a good commercial conversion, which he now helps mentors others in how to maximise their deals.
