Our very own Erin Chapman was just crowed Ms. Canada United World 2024.

In August, she will be heading to Texas to compete for the title of Ms. United World. These pageants cost the contestant thousands of dollars, so this is not only an opportunity for you have a Ms Canada in your portfolio, but you'll be helping an amazing lady in her quest to represent Canada on the world stage.

For this event, Erin will have a few outfits planned, including several with her official pageant sash and crown.

We'll be shooting around the NAC, along Elgin and Sparks Street for some great fashion and glamour shots.

We are announcing a super creative Three-Theme Event using the various area of the Diefienbunker as the backdrop.

The photographers will be divided into three groups, each shooting a different theme for about 1 hour, then rotate locations, so all three groups will have shoot all three- themes over the 3 hours.

The themes and models are”

1- Jaime in the main tunnel area sporting a high fashion, post-apocalyptic look with custom designed Chain-wear, featuring spikes and darker finishes.

2 – Crystal doing a fun vintage pin-up look using the retro kitchen and old-time artifacts at the museum

3- Lisa is looking mysterious as a cold war spy, skulking in an old industrial Machine Room (normally off limits to the public). She is also prepared to portray a cosplay character “Ayanami Rei” from Neon Genesis Evangelion. The setting for this character a secret quasi military-government underground headquarters.

The shoot is limited to 6 photographers, hence 3 groups of two, so you can work quickly and explore many looks with each model/location.
While the Diefienbunker does have typical indoor lighting you may want to bring extra lighting.

There will be a $45 fee to cover location rentals

I am creating a new instance of this special custom coaching program.

It is a training opportunity, where I work with you one-on-one to offer personalized education in the form of "photo apprentice for a day".

In short, we select a photo assignment (or create a fictitious one) aimed at teaching you what you want to learn and provide you with a real-life instance where you fulfill the assignment with my help and guidance.

For a fixed fee of $200, I'll guide you through the assignment from start to finish. This is not me doing and you just watching, this is you doing and me coaching.

What I'd work with you on is tailored to your personal needs.
Here is a sample "day":
1-- Creating/planning the shoot concept (approx. 2 hours)
2-- Finding a model/client (1 Hour)
3-- Locating the props (variable)
4-- Scouting a location (variable)
5-- Planning and scheduling the shoot (variable)
6-- Doing the shoot together (approx. 1-2 hours)
7-- Editing the final images (approx. 2 hours)
8-- Presentation/deliver to the client/model (variable)

It is not a physical "day" but a typical workday (7-8 hours) spread out over several weeks as our mutual schedules permit. This can be adjusted if you need a bit more or less.

The fee just covers my time and coaching for the "day". You hire models, rent space... Or just bring your own talent, Use your own space.
I can also usually help find make-up artists, models etc. Also available for reasonable fees are access to a studio, props, model pool.
I encourage you to use your own equipment, so you learn to better use your own gear, but I can also loan you whatever is needed to achieve your apprentice learning goals.

NOTE -- There is no actual date for this (meetup just requires that I add a date). In reality we do the apprentice sessions based on mutual availability. The Dec 31 date is simply when this offer expires.
