About us
This group is for both people who have live in the area for longer time and for newcomers who have just come to settle in the area. The approach is to build a community with like-minded people and in which you can meet people who share the same interest. We want to achieve this by organizing several activities with the aim of getting to know the surroundings of The Hague, Delft and Rotterdam better, but also to meet new people. The activities vary enormously; such as city trips, visiting movies, dancing, visiting museums , citytrip, potlock, creative cooking together and the list is endless :-)!

Learning a new language @ biblioteca/مكتبة/図書館 - #1
Bibliotheek Den Haag, Spui 68, Den Haag, NLÇa va? Do you want to learn a new language? Es bueno desafiarse a uno mismo. Ai, brainrot - você vai superar isso. Che lingua sarà? De skandinaviska språken finns också. مع السلامة
We're doing the 75 fluent challenge (https://75fluent.com) in a modified way. You can read the rules i will be following to help achieve my goal, but you're free to adjust them to your taste!
My guidelines:
- Dedicate at least 45 minutes daily to structured language learning.
- Log what I studied, resources used, and key notes from my session.
- Practice speaking for at least 5 minutes every day. [Choosing a song in your target language and learning the meaning + singing it also counts as practice imo]
- Watch/listen at least one episode of content in the language I'm learning. [YouTube, podcast etc.]
- Learn at least 15 new words every day.
I'm scheduling some meet ups to motivate each other in person and also to check in with each other.
This meetup will be the first one! One, واحد, eins, un, uno!
Maybe someone else also wants to learn the language you wanna learn and how awesome would it be if you could hold a conversation in another language at the end of the year?
PS It's not about perfection! The hardest part is starting and once you start YOU WILL BE AMAZED with what you can achieve if you are consistent. :)
