Are you a woman aged 50+ who enjoys good company, plenty of laughs, and the occasional escape from family, housework, and responsibilities? Then pull up a chair – you might just have found your tribe!
Dolly Mixtures is a friendly ladies-only group based in and around the Medway Towns. We're a mixture of ages, backgrounds, personalities and interests, but we all have one thing in common – we enjoy getting out, making friends, and having fun.
Our members help shape the group, so whether you're a coffee lover, theatre-goer, walker, chatterbox, shopaholic, cake enthusiast, or just looking for some lovely company, there's something for everyone. And if there isn't? Suggest it and we'll help make it happen!
Our recent meet-ups have included:
☕ Coffee mornings (where one coffee somehow turns into three hours)
🍰 Lunches and cake dates (because calories consumed with friends don't count)
💖 Charity coffee mornings
🚶‍♀️ Walks with plenty of chatting and occasional actual exercise
🎭 Theatre and cinema trips
🚌 Days out, adventures and the odd "that seemed like a good idea at the time" outing
Joining Us
Please provide a clear profile photo when requesting to join. As this is a ladies-only group, male applicants will be kindly but firmly redirected elsewhere.
New members are asked to pay a small annual membership fee (currently £8) and answer a few simple questions. Once you've joined, you can attend as many meet-ups as you like.
The Boring but Important Bit
All meet-ups are attended at your own risk. Dolly Mixtures cannot be held responsible for accidents, mishaps, sore feet, getting lost on walks, laughing until your mascara runs, or eating more cake than originally intended.
We're a warm, welcoming bunch and we love meeting new members. So if you're looking for friendship, support, fun and a diary that's a little fuller than it is now, come and join us.
