This group is organised by me, Dave Evans, with many years of organising Meetup groups. I'll especially welcome anyone who would like to organise events in and around Tewkesbury.

I run another group and have done for years. We're having a summer party at which you're all welcome, please read the details below.

Bits and split - One of Gloucester's best-loved, longest-running bands, Bits and Splits delivers top-drawer Soul, Motown, Northern, Funk, Disco and Philly sounds.
We do need some financial support this time, £5 each please.
Please bring cash for the bar, there are two bars and only one card machine.
We will play some tunes on the sound system before and after the band, send any requests to dave@45nsingle.com or in comments below.
Yes summer will be here soon and time for our annual summer party.
This years venue is the The Farmers Club, Longford. Gloucester. GL2 9RG. The Farmers Club is in a secluded haven only five minutes from the city center. A private club, with a secluded substantial old family home (originating 1860's) large walled gardens, mature trees to the perimeter with free car parking for 100 cars. And a BAR.
Food will be "bring a plate to share". So please contribute something from small nibbles, to sausage rolls, quiche, salad etc. Licensed bar until 11.30, to be confirmed.
Friends & Guests over 18 welcome. No pets.
All welcome - we should have around 60-70 partygoers.
The band will set up from 7, start playing around 8.30 with a break in the middle to eat and natter, finish around 10.45. The club has a music system we can plug into so we can keep the music going after 11 for a while. I think 11.30 is the absolute cut off.
