🌅 After Work Walkabout: Fish Hawk Creek Nature Preserve North

Join us for an early evening hike through Fish Hawk Creek Nature Preserve North. This trail winds through shady hammocks and open pine flatwoods, making it a great mid-week reset.
We’ll cover about 2.5–3 miles total, generally considered an easy route. Expect the hike to take about 1 hour at a moderate pace.
🌅 Sunset is at 7:07 PM, so we’ll finish up just before dark.
🚗 Parking: There are about 8 spaces at the trailhead, but if those fill up, there is plenty of parking immediately across the street within the park.
✅ Bring water, comfortable shoes, and bug spray.
🔦 A small flashlight or headlamp is a good idea since we’ll be close to sunset when we wrap up.

Join us for a relaxing After Work Walkabout through beautiful Lettuce Lake Park! This 1.2-mile loop is a perfect midweek escape, featuring shady boardwalks, scenic views, and a peaceful forest setting.
Please arrive and park in either Lot A (closest to the exercise station) or Lot B (near the playground). We'll meet right in front of the exercise station in Lot A at 5:30 PM.
We’ll start the walk promptly and maintain a casual pace. The trail typically takes about 45–60 minutes, which gives us plenty of time to enjoy the route and exit before the gates close.
🚨 Reminder: The park closes at 7:00 PM sharp and sunset is at 6:59, so please arrive on time and be mindful of the clock during our walk.
Bring water, bug spray, and comfortable walking shoes. This is a gentle trail and a great way to unwind after the workday.
