TODAYS ADVENTURE
“Death Test Ruins and Metal Wizards” is the name of the Fantasy Trip adventure I invented.
King Thorz hires his city soldiers with a deadly selection system where they enter a labryinth and face monsters and deadly foes and try to come out alive - the Death Test.
12 rooms of dangerous battles to earn a job for the king. It worked well to find great soldiers - many died but the best survived. The first Death Test maze was shut down to build a sucessor the Death Test 2 Maze. Even deadlier challenges.
This adventure is set long after Death Test 2 in the spooky abandoned ruins of the first Death Test complex. Retired soldiers often snuck down friends and family to skulk around the old Death Test ruins and tells about the deadly encounters they survived. But lately people go in but don’t come out. Something new and deadly lurks within. A very mysterious guild nicknamed “The Metal Wizards” will
pay you to get in and rescue anyone who may be imprisoned there, or bring proof of death, or a full report on the dangers within. They will loan you some magic tools andd weapons to make it a safer rescue/scouting mission.
It also offers some heroism rules designed by me to get players out of fatal situations and some new spell books and a very intriguing new villain and patron.
