I'm still working out the details for this event, but I wanted to publish early since the group is new.
This meeting will be for all CEFR levels. If we get enough participants I would like to be able to separate A, B, and C levels. I appreciate your patience if this is not possible.
And full disclosure: my own Dutch is at, very generously, an A2 level, so this may be a case of the blind leading the blind.
A tentative weekly schedule, based on the Taalcafé I attended for a few weeks in Hengelo, Overijssel:
- 12:00-1:00: Themed Conversation
- 1:00-1:15: Break
- 1:15-2:00: Game
For our first meeting, the theme will be introductions and why each member wants to learn/practice Dutch.
The game will be Ben Ik Een Aap, or Headbands. The goal is to ask yes-or-no questions in order to guess the noun on your card, which everyone except you can see.
