Beyond our public game days, we also provide a hub for connecting people for campaigns and general RPG discussion. RPG Game Day 6 - Halfling's Hideout
Halfing's Hideout, 730 Brookline Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA, USJoin us Sunday afternoon for a Tabletop RPG Game Day at Halfling's Hideout in Brookline, Pittsburgh!
Whether you're a brand-new player or a seasoned dice veteran, you're welcome at the table. This event brings together GMs and players for standalone sessions, ongoing games, and experimental systems, whatever our GMs are excited to run.
New players welcome. No experience required. If you're not sure where to start, just look for the people with dice — they'll get you sorted.
About the Venue
Halfling's Hideout is a brand-new tabletop specialty shop in Brookline with plenty of table space and terrain available for GMs who want to add some flair to their sessions. Snacks and drinks are available in-store, and outside food and beverages are welcome. Pick up your Rations before the Dice Roll. The neighborhood has some great options nearby: Las Palmas for phenomenal tacos and Pitaland for incredible gyros from a local Greek bakery, plus several bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.Looking for GMs
As usual, we’re looking for GMs to run games. Feel free to run one-shots, mini-campaigns, system demos, whatever you're excited about. Terrain is available on-site if you want to use it. Let us know ahead of time.
If you'd like to run a game, please submit it via the GM Submission Form. Once games are submitted, we'll create separate Meetup listings for each session so players can sign up directly.
Questions? Reach out via Discord or the event page — we're happy to help you get set up.

- RSVP for this main event so we can gauge attendance and coordinate with the GMs.
- Browse the separate game-session Meetup listings as they're announced.
- Sign up for the specific game you want to play. This sign-up is the one that matters.
- Arrive early to pick up your Rations from the shop and be ready for the Dice Roll at noon.
- Show up ready to roll the dice and have fun.
If a game is full, join the waitlist and still show up. No-shows and last-minute cancellations happen, so there's a real chance a seat opens up. No guarantees, but it's absolutely worth coming.
Already RSVP'd but can't make it? Please update your Meetup attendance as soon as you know. It takes 10 seconds and means someone on the waitlist gets to play. It's one of the best things you can do for the community.
Join the Guild
We coordinate games, announcements, and community chat on Discord. Joining the server is the best way to stay informed and connect with other GMs and players.Support the Venue

DnD 5E / Castle Crash / Brookline RPG Day 6
Halfing's Hideout, 730 Brookline Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA, USThe castle isn't going to let you in. That's your problem to solve.
Castle Crash is a homebrew D&D 5E one-shot — a complete adventure in a single session with no prior experience, no long-term commitment, and no outside reading required. What stands between you and the objective is exactly as dangerous as it looks.
Terrain tiles and miniatures will be used for key encounters, so you can see exactly where things stand — and how bad the situation has actually gotten.
No experience needed. Pre-generated characters provided.

Star Wars TTRPG FFG/ VIP Rescue / Brookline RPG Day 6
Halfing's Hideout, 730 Brookline Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA, USThe Empire doesn't waste resources on people it plans to kill.
Operation: Fly by Night, is an action-packed one-shot using the Star Wars Roleplaying Game by Fantasy Flight Games. You're Rebel operatives with a narrow window, a light cruiser in your quadrant, and intel on a prisoner worth extracting — whoever they are.
The mission is straightforward. Intercept the cruiser, disable its emergency systems, secure the VIP, and get out before the fighter escort turns a clean extraction into something much worse. Combat is likely. Collateral damage is a choice. Speed is everything.
You're not being sent because this is easy. You're being sent because no one else can do it.
Pre-generated characters are provided — no experience with the system or the setting is required. Just show up ready to move fast.

Blades in the Dark '68/ Penthouse Predicament / Brookline RPG Day 6
Halfing's Hideout, 730 Brookline Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA, USDoskvol. Midnight. A glittering city seen from far above.
Penthouse Predicament is a one-shot in Blades in the Dark '68 — a heist-focused RPG set in an industrial city of eternal darkness, haunted canals, and ruthless criminal factions vying for control.
A powerful syndicate has invited your crew for a tour of their opulent lair. You're playing it smooth, keeping your hands clean, watching their operation from the inside — until the moment something goes badly wrong. Whatever their prize possession is, the sight of it changes everything.
Blades in the Dark runs on a fiction-first engine that rewards bold action and forces you to deal with consequences in real time. Expect drama, danger, and decisions with no good answers.
Mature themes and criminal violence are central to this one. Come ready to get your hands dirty.
No experience with the system is needed. Pre-generated characters provided.
