Meet the Spinoffs!
We are a group of cyclists of all ages, sizes, body types, ethnicities, political persuasions, religions, sexual orientations, intellectual capacities, and abilities who cycle the trails and back roads of Northeast Ohio and surrounding areas for fun, health, and friendship. We welcome riders from the novice to the experienced. What brings us together is a desire to maintain a healthy lifestyle, share friendship, and enjoy the outdoors by cycling.

Ride Name: Cleveland Clinic to Hudson/Judson
Distance: 21 miles round trip
Rating: Intermediate. Recreational speeds of 11-13 mph.
Ride type: Out and back.
Restrooms: at starting point in Cle Clinic Wellness Center and along route.

Trail: Bike & Hike. (paved)
Starting Point: Akron General Health & Wellness Center, 4300 Allen Rd., Stow. Get off Route 8 at Steels Corner Road. Make a left onto Allen Road at the stop light and then another left into the parking lot. Park in back near the trail.
Ride Description: Paved trail, flat with some rolling hills. We head north and then east on the Bike & Hike. A quick re-group at the trail split just before the steep hill down. We pass through a tunnel under Rte. 91 followed by a stop at the Young Road trailhead for restroom break. The Portage Franklin Connector trail will take us to our turnaround point at the Hudson/Judson trailhead. One large hill on our return ride.

- Clinton to Lake Ave. - 24 miles RTClinton Trailhead, Clinton, OH
Ride name: Clinton to Lake Ave.
Distance: 24 miles round trip
Rating: Beginner, flat, recreational speeds 11-13 mph.
Ride type: out and back, with a small loop on the Olde Muskingum Trail.
Trail: Towpath (mostly crushed limestone, some sections paved).
Ride type: out and back, with a small loop on the Olde Muskingum Trail. We will get on the Olde Muskingum trail at Forty Corners Trailhead and will ride the entire Muskingum Trail to Canal Fulton.
Restrooms: At starting point and along the route.

Ride Description: Starting at the Clinton Trailhead we head south through Canal Fulton. We past Lock 4, Butterbridge (short regroup), Crystal Springs, Forty Corners, and Bridgeport Quarry. Our turn around point will be the Lake Ave. trailhead at Ernie's Bike Shop. Restrooms in separate building behind the bike shop. The Blue Heron Cafe sells beverages and snacks. We will get on the Olde Muskingum Trail at Forty Corners trailhead and ride it to Canal Fulton, where we will then switch to the Towpath for the remainder of the ride to Clinton.

Ride Name: Middlebury Trailhead to Peck Rd
Distance: 22 miles round trip
Rating: Intermediate. Recreational speeds of 11-13 mph
Ride Type: Out and back
Rest Rooms: Porta Potty at start and along route at Towner’s Woods.

Trail: Portage Hike & Bike. (paved)
Starting point: Middlebury Road Trailhead, 1324 Middlebury Rd.
Ride Description: Except for the hill on Middlebury, the Portage Bike and Hike is paved and flat. Our ride begins on the Portage Bike and Hike along the Cuyahoga River. After riding past Tannery Park trailhead, we ride a short distance on the roads to get through Kent to the Portage Bike and Hike north/east of Kent. A quick stop at Towner’s Woods Park for restroom. Our turn around point will be Peck Road east of Ravenna. We return on the same trail.
