Are you a nature or urban enthusiast who loves to explore the beauty of Northeastern Illinois and Southwestern Wisconsin through your camera lens? Join Shutterbugs of Northern Chicagoland (SoNiC) to connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for photography, birds, walking, biking, camping, eating, drinking, playing, listening, urban walks, animals, outdoor photography, foto trips, outings, and nature walks. Whether you enjoy capturing local wildlife and events or simply love immersing yourself in nature and area communities, our group offers exciting opportunities to explore the diverse landscape of our region and connect with others who appreciate the wonders of the great outdoors and other aspects of our friendly area. Come join us and let's discover together!
Membership is not limited to just residents of northeast Illinois. We would love to have members from Kenosha, Racine, and other areas of southwest Wisconsin join us. Also, no camera snobs in this group; you can use your cell phone without shame! We will meet once a month, year round, for friendship, to share our photos, plan and coordinate outings, provide educational information and to work on an annual calendar project of our own photography.
