# Welcome to Our Social Group!
Welcome to our very active, friendly social group, open to everyone! We’re a welcoming bunch, and there’s always good company, conversation, and something to look forward to.
We offer a wide variety of activities and events throughout the year, with something to suit a range of interests. Suggestions for new events and activities are always very welcome!
## Membership Fees
There is a small annual membership fee to help support the group.
The standard January membership fee is £10 for the year, which is our special discounted annual rate.
If you join later in the year, the fee is reduced accordingly:
- February: £11
- March: £10
- April: £9
- And so on throughout the year
New members are welcome to attend their first event before paying the membership fee. Following your first event, you will receive an email with details of how to make your payment.
## Events & Attendance
If you see an event that is showing as full, please use the waitlist. Things can change, and places often become available.
If you are unable to attend an event you have booked, please amend your attendance as soon as possible. This allows someone else to take your place.
Unfortunately, if you fail to attend an event without notifying us on three occasions, you will be removed from the group.
## Respect & Behaviour
We want our group to remain a friendly, welcoming, and enjoyable place for everyone.
Any behaviour considered inappropriate, disrespectful, or unacceptable towards other members may result in removal from the group.
We would love to have you join us and become part of our community!
