Let's go to a Lantern festival in Allegheny Commons Park West. We'll each get a lantern that we can write affirmations on and can release them with little battery operated tealights into Lake Elizabeth. There will be food trucks. Bring a folding chair. I am interested in learning how to play Mahjong. Some other members of the group have expressed interest in doing so as well. I will share information about various Mahjong classes and practice sessions but they are not necessarily HOSTED events. I will not be attending this class but will be attending the mid week mahjong at Hazel Grove Brewing.

Senior Social: Pop Generation is a series of events recommended for members ages 65 and over.
This edition of Senior Social: Pop Generation will highlight our exhibition, Sharif Bey: Homecoming. Meet and mingle over refreshments, explore the collection of The Andy Warhol Museum, and enjoy a lecture about Andy Warhol’s sculptures. This event is free for Carnegie Museums members, The event is scheduled from 9 am until 12 noon.

Tickets are not available yet for the "Senior Social," but I have a premier membership, so I will be able to get passes for 9 (non-members) for FREE.

However, YOU MUST BE 65 OR OVER for this event. If you already have a Membership you can get your own ticket and should indicate that when you RSVP. I am limiting attendance to 9 but will add anyone to "going" who has their own membership. We will meet in the lobby at 9:00 AM. If you are getting MY free tickets, please be on time (give yourself extra time due to morning rush hour!!).

Depending on interest, we may opt to go to lunch afterward at Federal Galley, which is an 10 minute walk. There will be light snacks/beverages at the event.

Museum parking is $8 (cash only) in The Warhol lot during normal museum hours. The lot is located on the northeast corner of Sandusky and East General Robinson Streets, and the entrance is on East General Robinson Street. A large Brillo Box parking attendant booth is next to the entrance.
