Socializing with other singles in our age range, right here in Hickory. Sounds simple - but it’s more challenging than it should be, and much more difficult than in our younger days!
As we enter year two of this band of fabulous fifty+ single friends, we're continuing much of what's worked and adding new types of activities. We'd like to hear from you about activity preferences, days/times, and if you see an interesting event - please let us know.
We'd love to see additional/new/silent members who have yet to join us for socializing, so let us know what you're thinking!
Lastly, for now, is the topic of dues. Last year I did not request dues, but as the Meetup fee structure is around $300/yr we've decided to start a voluntary dues request. I'll likely just post my Venmo tag here in the future, and your donations really help to offset the expense of keeping our group on the Meetup platform.
