It's been a while since we travelled long haul with the meetup group, we had so much fun Thailand, Zanzibar and Kenya.

Let's enjoy Colombia, located in South America, a country with diverse landscapes, cultures, and experiences. From the Andes mountains to the Caribbean coast, from the Amazon jungle to the colonial cities, Colombia has something for everyone

This trip will go ahead once we have 4 travellers, if not you will be refunded fully.

We will be staying in Bogotá, Medellin, and Cartagena for 4 nights

Holiday takes place from 11th - 25th October with a late overnight flight arriving to the UK on Sunday 26th with 1 stop over on return flights.

11th - 15th Botoga
Day 1
We Catch a late morning flight from Gatwick Airport.
On arrival to Botoga we are transferred to our hotel.

Day 2
Feel the history of Bogotá come to life while we take a private walking tour

• Pay a visit to the Gold Museum and learn more about the Muisca culture
• Visit key locations such as the Primate Cathedral and Chorro de Quevedo
• Uncover the intriguing facts behind the legend of the lost city of El Dorado
• Ride the cable car and take in views of the city from the top of Monserrate

Day 3 FREE DAY
Optional day tour to visit Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral and Lake Guatavita additional fee £80

Day 4
Just an hour from Bogotá, we visit Choachí, where we will find the tallest natural waterfall of Colombia. There, we will have an ecological walk in "La Chorrera" park to reach the hill where the pristine water flows.
We will spend the day surrounded by all shades of green while breathing the cleanest air!

15th - 19th Medellin
Day 5
Today we catch a morning flight to Medellin
Free time to relax or explore after checking in,

Day 6
Early start, we visit the city of Guatapé for the day, located 1.5-hours from Medellín, and see a world of colour amongst its streets adorned with tile facades. Take a relaxing boat ride and enjoy a traditional Colombian breakfast and lunch.

Day 7
Free Day
Later we get ready to P A R T Y, as we discover the best rooftops and nightclubs the El Poblado district in Medellín and end the night on 70 street in Laureles. Enjoy free shots, included entry, with bilingual guide

Day 8
Free Day, Optional Enjoy horseback riding experience along a muleteer path. Ride a horse down the old path of the silleteros to the Don Leandro Coffee Farm and relaxing coffee massage and steam. Additional fee £85

19th - 24th Cartagena
Day 9
Today we fly to Cartagena in the afternoon, after checking in free time to explore and relax

Day 10
Get ready for fun in the sun and discover the islands near Cartagena on this full-day island-hopping excursion. Swim, lounge, and explore 5 destinations across the Rosario channel of islands. Swim in the famous crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea

Day 11
Free Time

Day 12
Enjoy a transfer from Cartagena and immerse yourself in local culture with a trip to a community, join a canoeing tour through the mangrove, see and learn how locals fish also taste a delicious lunch.

19th - 24th Bogota
Day 13
We fly back to Bogota on an evening flight

Day 14th
At 12 noon we will join a food tour of Bogota. Dive into the heart of Colombian cuisine with more than 12 tastings led by local foodie guides, with coffee workshop.

• Learn about Colombian culture and it's intriguing culinary history
• Let your experienced, local, foodie guide lead the way
• Included is a game of explosive tejo, with a local beverage

Day 15
Last day, free time to explore before heading back home on an overnight flight. We have a late check out so, a chance to relax or more sightseeing with new friends, whoever is up to it let's discuss together

Dining Speed Dating on Tables of 6 where everyone can speak to each other on the tables. There will be 8 tables of 6 for this event.

Speed dating means you get to speak to everyone attending and combined with eating together in a group of six on the table makes the whole experience a lot more relaxed.

When you book for this event we will need you to text full name, year of birth plus area you live to

We have 2 sharing platters and a large pizza on each table.
We will ask the men to move tables every 15 minutes. The whole dating experience will take 2.5 hours maximum as we ask you to arrive at 7pm to sit down at 7.30pm. Please do not book if you are not confident you can arrive by 7pm.
We will have places saying man, woman, man, woman so when the first 3 ladies and 3 men arrive within one of the age ranges we can ask you to sit once you have purchased your drink at the bar and visited the rest rooms. There won't be any standing around as we have only the one age range on this event.

There also won't be any whistle blowing. We will ask the three men on each table of six to move to the next numbered table when we reach 15 minutes. This means there will be 7 moves after sitting to have sat on all 8 tables. The men take their plate with them as it is the same food on every table.

At 9.30pm when the dating/dining has finished you can all carry on socialising at the bar or maybe move onto The Mad Squirrel which often has live music on a Saturday evening. We will check this out nearer the time as they don't have events posted yet for October.
This is a good time to get back together with anyone you liked in particular and exchange numbers. You can also pass messages via us after the event if you can remember the first name and area the person lives.
