What we’re about
Welcome to a casual, friendly hangout group for 18–22-year-olds in the San Gabriel Valley!
This age can feel a little… blah. Too old for teen groups, not always old enough for certain adult activities, and definitely ready to meet people who get it. That’s exactly why this group was created.
These meetups will be organized by an adult who understands how important connection is at this stage of life. They won’t be attending the events unless it’s just for the first few minutes for introductions as this space is all about peers hanging out together but they’re here to coordinate activities, support the group’s structure, and make sure things stay safe, welcoming, and easy to join.
This group is purely social and designed for independent young adults to connect with peers in a relaxed, low-pressure setting. Because of that, it isn’t the right fit for those looking for an autism-specific group or for settings with older adults available for support. If that’s the type of environment you’re seeking, we genuinely encourage you to join one of the many wonderful groups created specifically for those needs. They’ll be far better equipped to offer the support and structure you deserve. We want everyone to land in the space that works best for them, and we appreciate your understanding.
We’ll be getting together a couple of times a month for pizza nights, bowling, game nights, and other relaxed, low-pressure activities around the SGV. No bar scene, no club scene, just simple fun and a place to make new friends.
