Welcome to the Santa Fe Buddhist Meetup Group! We are a community dedicated to helping each other experience growth and inner awakening through various practices such as mindfulness, sadhana meditation, chanting & visualization, book study, and Buddhist teachings from visiting teachers. Our group is open to individuals interested in connecting with like-minded souls who seek to cultivate peace, compassion, and wisdom in their lives. Join us for engaging discussions, meditation sessions, and building supportive relationships within our Buddhist Sangha. Let's embark on this transformative journey together!
Hosting organization is KSK Buddhist Center, a Kagyu Tibetan Buddhist Center, on Airport Rd in Santa Fe (look for the tall stupa - gold and white tower structure).

Buddhist Book Club/ Discussion Group (no outside reading)
KSK Tibetan Buddhist Center, 3777 Ksk Ln, Santa Fe, NM, USA laidback, no homework style Buddhist book club / discussion group.
Our book club will work through Open Heart, Clear Mind by Thubten Chodron. We'll read aloud and discuss one chapter at a time. Copies of the book are provided for free, all you need to do is show up.
It is appropriate and fine to miss weeks, you can jump in anytime without any prior reading. The chapters can pretty much stand alone, so no pressure to keep up with the reading if you miss.
The point of this Buddhist Book Club is to bring Buddhist concepts off the cushion into our daily lives.
Experience level: All experience levels welcome! Good for beginner meditators, never meditators, and experienced practitioners alike. You don't have to be Buddhist or know anything about Buddhism.
Schedule: 6pm - 7:30pm
Light meditation instruction
15 minute silent meditation
Read one chapter aloud from book (books provided)
Open discussionCost: Free. Books provided without charge.
Location: KSK Buddhist Center, in the library/bookstore - first small building in front of you as you enter the blue gate with white walls. To the left of the stupa/tower structure.
Parking: In the parking lot! Go straight down the driveway and make a left at the circle to park in the dirt parking lot.
