Welcome to the Santa Cruz RPG Meetup! We're growing the Tabletop Roleplaying Game (TTRPG) community across Santa Cruz County. We're open to gamers of all experience ranges. Whether you're new to TTRPGs or have been playing for decades, if you're a TTRPG enthusiast in Santa Cruz County you are welcome here.
Members of this group run and play Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder, of course, but many other TTRPGs as well — from small press indie games to a wide variety of other systems and settings — our interests vary widely.

D&D at the Capitola Library (18+)
Capitola Branch Library , 2500 Wharf Road ,, Capitola, CA, US- New player? We run a beginner game that will teach you the basics in 4 hours.
- Experienced player? Bring a character(*) or use one of ours and join a level 3 or 5 adventure.
- Bad experience? No gatekeeping here, everyone is welcome as they are.
- Want to play something other than D&D? We often run other RPGs. Join our Discord to get the latest news.
Come meet old and new players and our rotating group of LGBT+ friendly game masters at this library program. We focus on role playing, collaboration, and equal participation of all players.
We typically offer at least one beginner D&D game (level 1 or 3, with an emphasis on roleplay), one level 5 game (combat-focused), and often another RPG. Pregenerated characters are available.
You're welcome to bring your own D&D character, keeping these guidelines in mind: We generally use the 2024 ruleset, though a 2014 version is acceptable. No homebrew, and please use the standard array. Level 5 games are perfect for testing new builds. Level 3 games are primarily roleplay-focused, and if you want to bring your own character please use only the PHB for character creation.
We meet at the Capitola Library in the Community room. First come, first serve so please be on time!

There are different games each month. There can be classic games like D&D as well as other games across the spectrum of TTRPG experiences.
