Become a part of the laughter movement while you relieve stress and have fun! Join us at Laughter Yoga Santa Cruz to become a healthier and happier you! We will play with problems, giggle with our gremlins, laugh with our fears and frustrations and reboot our joy set point. You will leave feeling peaceful, relaxed, energized,
This group is especially good for recovering people-pleasers, perfectionists, controller type A personalities, serious thinkers, over doers, and anyone who has been giving to everyone else and feels stressed, overwhelmed. If you want to feel better fast come join in an hour of pure fun and joy!
Fun warm ups, laughter exercises, joyful laughter meditation, and a deep relaxation (shivasana) will leave you blissed out!
Wear comfortable clothes, mat optional. Anyone can participate from children to seniors…all levels of physical fitness are welcome. And you can even be serious, grumpy or not in the mood and laugh. You will still feel better afterwards!

Many of you know me for my passion of joy and laughter—I’m a Laughter Wellness Trainer, 2x American Laughter Champion, and 2023 World Laughter Champion. But what you may not know is that my journey into joy came from deep loss and childhood trauma.
For years, I carried hidden grief—one loss after another, heartbreak after heartbreak—building tension and pain in my body. Laughter became my lifeline, reminding me that joy was still possible. But the deeper I leaned into laughter, the more unprocessed emotions surfaced. Losing my parents and dear friends, facing unrealized dreams, and navigating unexpected life challenges showed me that while my laughter and joy practices kept me going, true healing required more.
I needed the space to honor my grief, be witnessed in community, and let the pain move through me—not just bury it beneath a smile. This healing journey led me to my calling: helping others access joy through the gateway of grief.
This July 11-13, 2025, I’ll be co-leading Liberation Beyond Loss, a virtual retreat
