Hi SILVERS!
We are a social group now including those aged 50 plus! We've shared 4,401 events over the last 15 years and look forward to creating environments where everyone can meet and have a great time! If you're a mid-lifer and want to expand your activities and connections with a very established group with tenured hosts please join us! Like the precious metal silver, our Silver Meetup group aims to attract and reflect positive energy. Please bring your ideas and share your interests!
Our emphasis is more on fun and friendship, so we are not a dating site.
We share a variety of gatherings in San Diego, including Pacific & Mission Beach, Point Loma, La Jolla, Bay Park, Old Town, Clairemont, Downtown and in Mission Valley. We are currently hosting Happy hours, Bonfires, Bowling, Camping, Walks, Picnics, Urban hikes, visits to the San Diego Zoo, Cultural events and Movies. We are planning on hosting music-related events soon.
Becoming a member: Post a facial shot of just you without sunglasses on. Your first name and first initial of your last name, no nicknames. Answer a few questions and you should be approved within 24 hours.
Remaining a member: Treat others as you would like to be treated! Please update your RSVP to "not coming" if you are unable to make it as attendance is usually taken unless posted. A few no-shows will get you removed without notice so take care of your RSVP. No promoting or soliciting for any reason by anyone, this will also get you removed. Politics or religion should not be discussed and we are not a dating site!
