North Park is one of the premier areas of San Diego with boutiques, art galleries, bars, restaurants, hard kombucha bars, modern cuisine, live music and more. Join us for this unique way to explore this great neighborhood while socializing and having fun with other members of our social groups.
We have put together a scavenger hunt with a story. It will be up to you to help solve a mystery with others on your team. (We will put together teams if you don't have one)
How It Works:

• Arrive at URBN North Park at 7pm for registration.
• We will put people on teams of 4-6.
• Each team will be given a "clue sheet" and will have 75 minutes to go out into the neighborhood to find as many clues as they can.
• You will be following a story of the day in the life of Surfer Sammy who winds up mysteriously disappearing by the end of the day.
• You will use those clues to help solve the mystery of what happened to Sammy.
• Following the hunt you are welcome to join our "Welcome To The Sam Diego Social Network Party"

Cost: $15
Dress Code: casual. wear comfortable shoes

The Story
Surfer Sammy just moved to The San Diego area from the Bay area. He basically wore out his welcome back home because of his lazy attitude and the callus way he treats people. Unfortunately, he has brought all those characteristics with him. One day he spends his time doing many things in the neighborhood of North Park which does not end well. It will be up to you to follow his path that day and find out what happened to him.

North Park is one of San Diego’s hottest neighborhoods—known for its trendy boutiques, art galleries, buzzing bars, craft eateries, and unique local flavor. Now, you can explore this vibrant area in a totally new way with a social twist!

### 🔍 The Adventure:

Join us for an interactive scavenger hunt meets mystery game, where you'll team up with fellow social group members to unravel the strange tale of Surfer Sammy—a new arrival to San Diego with a not-so-charming reputation.
Your mission: Trace Sammy's steps around North Park, collect clues, and solve the mystery of his sudden disappearance.

### 🗺️ How It Works:

• 6:30 PM – Check in at URBN North Park
• We’ll assign you to teams of 4–6 people (or bring your own team!)
• Each team receives a clue sheet and has 75 minutes to explore the neighborhood
• Clues are hidden in plain sight—on signs, in shops, restaurants, and bars. You may also need to take photos or bring back small items
• Work together to uncover what really happened to Surfer Sammy by the end of his wild day

Surfer Sammy recently moved from the Bay Area to San Diego—but his rude, lazy, and callous ways haven’t changed. In one fateful day spent wandering North Park, Sammy interacts with the locals, stirs up drama, and eventually vanishes.
Your challenge: Piece together the events of his day and figure out what went down.

• Discover clues built into the fabric of the neighborhood (existing signs, decor, menus, etc.)
• Snap creative photos
• Collect fun items to bring back
• Work as a team to solve the mystery!
