What we’re about
This group provides learning opportunities, resources, support, and motivation for anyone on the journey to healthy nutrition and lifestyle.
Salient Lifestyle Center was established in 2021 by Ashwani Garg, M.D., Terri Dallas, M.D., and Gabriel Bardan to restore people's total well-being through evidence-based lifestyle education by providing programs and organizing events in Northwestern Chicagoland and beyond.
The literal meaning of the Latin verb "SALIENT" (future tense, third person, plural) vividly encapsulates our vision for those who graduate from our programs or attend our events: They "WILL JUMP" (as of joy), "WILL LEAP" (advance in life by leaps and bounds), and "WILL SPRING UP" (to a better life).

In this workshop, you’ll gain the knowledge and tools you need to understand the hormonal changes of menopause, what symptoms to expect, and the key components of an annual exam. Empowered with this information, you’ll be better prepared to partner with your healthcare provider to make informed decisions and optimize your health.
In addition to discussing the latest research on menopause hormone therapy, we’ll talk about nonhormonal medications to treat menopause symptoms as well as lifestyle behaviors that impact hot flashes, night sweats, brain fog, mood changes, and other symptoms of menopause.
Above all, this workshop will inspire you to take charge of your health and use the menopause transition as an opportunity to transform your health trajectory.
