Spooktacular Halloween Party!

Lets do a Walk Along the River. We will meet in the main parking lot near shelter 2 toward the boat slide...We will Proceed on the Robious Park loop 1.6 miles which follows along the river with amazing river views.. We will then arrive where we started and walk the Robious Landing short loop 2 x .9 for 1.8 miles total. Bring water snack and weather appropriate gear and footwear....As all my events it is at your own risk....Look for a black Audi Q5 SUV ....Hope to see you there...

This is a bicycling event and a co meet with my other Group We cycle rock and Stroll RVA.. Please only sign up if your bicycle is in good working order...A hybrid or mountain bike is recommended for the lime stone base. Like any active event bicycling can be dangerous and attending this event is at your own risk.

We will meet up at the municipal parking lot at 201 mill st.. We will be ready to ride at 1000 am or close to it....We will start across the street at the trail head ride to Rice and back it is 7.5 miles each way we will stop on the high bridge for a bit....Helmets mandatory water recommended....Hybrid or mountain bike recommended as the trail is a limestone base...Afterward we can do lunch at Charleys Waterfront Cafe.... This is at your own risk you agree when you sign up.

Don't put those costumes away just yet; there is one more Halloween party to attend. This year, we are including this group to enjoy the festivities.

What: Get Out Today RVA 8th Annual, After Halloween, Halloweenie Roast, and Costume Party. Dress up and socialize while roasting your weenie over one of our fire pits.

When: Saturday, November 7th. The party starts at 6:30 pm and goes on until the last person leaves. For several years, it has been as late as 1 am.

Cost: $8.00 per person. Half the money collected will go towards the costume contest. Please pay no attention to the red "unpaid" by your name. We will have the gotRVA donation can out on the table. Put your money there when you arrive.

Where: A private residence in the West End. The address will be written in the comments below on the Saturday morning of the event. To give you an idea, the house is in the West End between Ruby Carver Elementary School and The Stewart School.

Location Details: This event will be outside with a large deck, a large patio, and two fire pits, so that we can have a fun night to get all dressed up and socialize.

What's Provided: We will be providing the place, the patio, the fire pits, the Hot Dogs, Hot Dog Buns, and all the Hot Dog fixings. Also provided will be roasting sticks and all the paper and plastic products.

What To Bring: You bring $8, a side dish, yourself dressed in costume, and a good-time attitude. Adult Halloween liquid spirits are welcome, and because of this, it is a 21-year-old or older event.

Costume Contest: A little after 9 pm, we will gather on the deck and have our costume contest. Each person will have a chance to "Walk the Runway" (Soul Train Style) to show off their costume. Then you will vote on a piece of paper for your 1st and 2nd favorite costumes. The organizers will tally the votes and come back with a decision.
