The historic Rockingham Ballroom has the area’s largest and only floating wood floor built spe cifically for dancing. Our events host some of the biggest names of big bands, dating from 1934. 8500 sf with a 4000 sf dance floor. Café style seating. Featured monthly events live big band and swing sound with free lessons, Stand up comedy, tribute bands, line dancing with lesson featured DJ dancing with monthly themes We also are available to rent for parties, classes, meetings.

September Comedy Night at the Ballroom
Rockingham Ballroom, 22 Ash Swamp Rd, Newmarket, NH, USComedy Night at the Ballroom delivers a full night out starting with live music, followed by a fresh lineup of two headlining stand-up comedians, from rising stars to seasoned pros with credits from top clubs, festivals, and TV across New England and beyond.
Hear a joke, tell a joke! This month, we’re adding Open Mic Comedyoke - your chance to take the stage before the pros. Rant, rave, tell a joke, or try out your best material in front of a live audience for up to two minutes. The crowd favorite wins 4 free tickets to a future Comedy Night! No professional experience required, just bring your nerve and something funny to say.
The evening begins with live music from Jam Tomorrow, whose soulful originals, strong vocals, and infectious energy to the stage before the laughs begins. This month's comedy lineup features Jim Colliton, a nationally touring comedian and former orthodontist known for his clean, high-energy comedy inspired by family life, with appearances on Comedy Central, NBC, FOX, and comedy clubs across the country. Justin George, a New England favorite whose high-energy storytelling, quick wit, and relatable humor have made him a crowd favorite throughout the region.
