What we’re about
Group rides to bring NCSU faculty, staff, students and alumni together and enjoy the areas around campus.
Rides will be between about 9 and 12 miles, for 60 - 90 minutes. Typically, we'll start from Trophy Brewing on Maywood, or if we have a big crowd, we'll start in Dix Park.
Wherever we start, we'll end somewhere like Trophy Brewing, so we can sit and enjoy the evening after our ride.
Don't have a bike, or not sure you'll feel comfortable trying to keep up? No problem. Both start points are within walking distance of Citrix Bicycle Stations. https://www.citrixcycle.com/map
Routes will take us through local destinations:
- NC Museum of Art
- Lake Raleigh and Lake Johnson
- Dix Park
- Pullen Park, the Free Expression Tunnel and Talley Student Union
- North Carolina State Farmer's Market
- Downtown Raleigh
Rides will be primarily greenway, but road crossings and short stretches in bike lanes may be necessary.
Please make sure you have a well fitting helmet, and a working light.
