*Visit our website at REFACTR.TECH*
REFACTR.TECH provides a platform that highlights powerful and unique stories that are often untold in tech. We aim to foster collaboration and thoughtful discussions around technology. We offer a holistic view to learning technical skills, with a focus on career development, mental health, community building, and leadership which sets us apart from many technical conferences and meetups that don't usually offer such a comprehensive approach.
REFACTR.TECH provides a welcoming environment through a range of events, including meetups, panels, workshops, social events, and conferences. Our events cater to a wide range of experience levels and interests, with technical topics for intermediate to senior developers, as well as beginner-friendly content.
For 2024, REFACTR.TECH will offer a range of events, including meetups, panels, workshops, and social events that cater to a wide range of experience levels and interests, with technical topics for intermediate to senior developers, as well as beginner-friendly content.

These projects thrive on contributions from developers like you, but getting started can feel overwhelming—how do you find the right project, navigate large codebases, and make a meaningful impact? In this talk, we’ll break down how to successfully navigate open-source projects and contribute effectively. You’ll learn how to cut through complex codebases, submit high-quality pull requests, handle feedback from maintainers, and communicate within open-source communities.
