Looking to meet new people in Gorey?
Join us for a relaxed evening designed to help you meet new people, enjoy genuine conversations, and build new friendships. Most people come on their own.
This is a guided social event where you'll chat one-on-one with different women throughout the evening. It's relaxed, friendly, and there's no pressure—just good conversations and the opportunity to make new connections.
After the event, some of us go out to continue our conversations, you're welcome to come along.
## 👥 Who's it for?
Women who would like to meet new people and expand their social circle.
Whether you're new to Gorey, have lived here for years, are looking to make new friends, or simply fancy trying something different, you're very welcome.
Women aged 18+ are welcome.## 💬 How it works
- Relaxed one-on-one conversations (around 5 minutes each)
- When the bell rings, you'll move on to chat with someone new.
- Optional conversation cards to help get things started.

Hi, I'm Rebecca, founder of Real Life Friends Club.
I've been hosting Speed Friending and friendship events for over 10 years across New Zealand, Australia and Ireland, and have been building the Wexford community since November 2025.

Join us for a relaxed afternoon of genuine conversations and new connections at our Mixed Speed Friending Social.
This is a guided social event where you'll enjoy a series of one-to-one conversations with different people throughout the afternoon. It's relaxed, friendly, and there's no pressure—just good conversations and the opportunity to meet people you might never have crossed paths with otherwise.
This is not a dating event or a networking event—it's simply about meeting new people and building genuine local friendships.
After the event, anyone who'd like to is welcome to stay on for a drink and continue chatting.## 👥 Who's it for?
Anyone who would like to meet new people and expand their social circle.
Whether you're new to Wexford, have lived here for years, are looking to make new friends, or simply fancy trying something different, you're very welcome.
Adults of all ages are welcome.## 💬 How it Works
- Relaxed one-on-one conversations (around 5 minutes each)
- When the bell rings, you'll move on to chat with someone new
- Optional conversation cards to help get things started
- Plenty of time to stay, mingle, and continue conversations after the structured one-to-one chats
- After the event, you'll receive a follow-up email with the opportunity to join our WhatsApp community group, making it easy to stay connected with people you've met and hear about future events.

To provide the best experience for everyone, a minimum number of bookings is required for the event to go ahead. A decision is usually made 3–4 days before the event, so if you're planning to attend, we'd really appreciate you booking early.
If you've booked and your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows can significantly affect the experience for everyone attending.📱 Please include your mobile number when booking (and check it's correct). If the event needs to be rescheduled due to insufficient numbers, I'll contact you as soon as possible by text or phone.

Our mixed events are currently open to adults of all ages. As Real Life Friends Club continues to grow, we hope to introduce age-specific events alongside our mixed events, giving people even more opportunities to connect with others in a similar stage of life.
