Our book for October will be Prophet Song by Paul Lynch.

The 2023 Booker Prize winner Prophet Song spins a terrifying, suspenseful vision of an Ireland careening towards authoritarianism.

On a dark, wet evening in Dublin, scientist and mother-of-four Eilish Stack answers her front door to find two officers from Ireland’s newly formed secret police on her step. Please read the book if you are coming (this seems obvious, but we have had people who hadn't read the book at all, it will be difficult to enjoy the discussions if you don't, it's ok if you haven't finished it!)
