Meeting new people is a challenge and do you ever find yourself having more than enough things to do but no one to do it with. Expect an eclectic mix of activities ranging from happy hours to movies, plays or concerts, live music, dancing, and outdoorsy stuff like kayaking or bicycling and more (whatever randomly pops in our heads or you suggest). Expect food of some sort before, after or during many events.
This group is for people who don't take themselves too seriously and want to meet others in small groups.
If you want to be an event host so you may post an outing just let us know. The cool thing about hosting is you pick, the what, where and when of things that you want to do!
Please invite others to join our group to help it be vibrant.

Don't send instant messages through meetup to folks you haven't met. Propositions to meet outside of meetup events to a virtual stranger is creepy. Of course a relevant message to an event host regarding an upcoming meetup is different.

Players there are plenty of other sites if you just want to hook up one on one, don't make folks feel unsafe here. If you have done a meetup with someone and want to send them a good to see/meet you followup to me that is totally different, but if they do not reply or aren't interested don't be a "meetup creep". Of course it's great if folks "meetup" and some magic develops. So please remember while it is fun to "meetup", this group is not "hookup.com" or "match.com". Not everyone here is single or seeking a romance.
Remember if you receive an unsolicited message or suspicious or inappropriate behavior, please report it to Paul S, it is grounds for immediate dismissal of violating party. They probably are spamming others here and in other groups. We will ban them.

- Paint a Sunset in APRIL on Honeymoon Island BeachHoneymoon Island -NORTH BEACH, Dunedin, FL
Come paint a sunset on the beach AT Honeymoon Island! This is going to be an awesome event.
April 29th, Tuesday
Painting from 6-8pm. Sunset is at about 8:05pm.
We will be at North Beach, the most north you can park. We will be due west by the water. This will be the location every time unless specifically changed.Ticket includes the canvas plus all the materials to make the painting. All tickets need to be purchased in advance, no cash sales available at the event itself.

10x20 canvas - $35

Wood Pieces - up to 30" - $39.50
Wood Panel - up to 25" or so - $42This month (April) we will have the option to do our own foot prints on the canvas. For this reason, we suggest that you select the 16x20 canvas in order to have enough room.
Entry to Honeymoon Island NOT included.
Where to park:
We will be at North Beach, as north as possible from the bathrooms/changing rooms. Park in a spot closest to the northern most part of the parking lot. We will be just west of those spots. You will see a long, vertical flag that says, "PANTING."Bring your beach towel or blanket, something you won't mind getting paint on. We will be getting real cozy and casual while sitting on our blankets/towels and painting our sunset.
We will provide the easel, canvas, paint, brushes and all the rest. You just need to bring yourself, a friend or two and your inspiration to create an amazing sunset. You don't need to paint on an easel if you don't want to. Some prefer not. There is no experience needed. Our talented and helpful teacher will help walk you through the steps.
Don't worry about the sand, this will at real texture to the painting. Add some shells, make it a mixed media painting!
We will need to pack up and be gone just after so plan accordingly.
This event is limited to 10 people, so get your tickets before they sell out.
Disclaimer**
**Tickets are non-refundable.
Also, weather at Honeymoon Island can change on a dime . We are planning for this event to happen rain or shine. The only reason this event location will be cancelled is if the rain will make the water run off the canvas (even with mild rain we will persevere). So, if there is enough rain occurring between 6-9pm that will cause the paint to run off the canvas, the event location will be cancelled and you will be able to take a rain check at another event (to be used within 4 month of this event). NOTE: IF I MUST CANCEL THE EVENT BECAUSE OF WEATHER, I WILL RESCHEDULE FOR 2-7 DAYS LATER.
