Queer Lisbon

Are you a queer musician who is wanting to have fun, express yourself, and make some noise with your fellow queers? Then come join us for a jam at Camaleão!

We welcome all kinds of instrument players and vocalists. The jam will mostly be improvisational, but we can also work on writing songs together as well if that's the direction the group energy goes.

For each jam we'd like to have a decent distribution of drummers, bass players, guitar players, and singers. Generally we find ourselves in need to drummers the most, so if you are a drummer, or know of any queer drummers, please get in touch!

Here are the items included in the jam room:

• Acoustic drums with cymbals
• 2 guitar amplifiers
• 1 bass amplifier
• Grand Room Piano: Yamaha acoustic upright
• Small Room Piano: 88-Key Digital Hammer
• PA's and analog mixing desk
• Dynamic microphones, cables and tripods

Please feel free to bring your own instruments and accessories.

The cost for the room should be 30 euros for the 2 hours, and we'll evenly split this cost at the end of the session, so please bring some coins with you.

Also, when you RSVP, please write what instruments you'll be playing in the comment section so we can make sure that we have all of our essential instruments covered.

Paola offers two lessons every Monday in different dances, including forró, tango, bachata, salsa, samba, rebola, and more!

Now through the end of March, the classes will be:
19-20h: Forró and Samba
20h-21h: Tango

Prices:
10€ for a single lesson (one hour) OR
30€ per month for one class (one hour) every Monday
50€ per month for both classes (two hours) every Monday
