About us
This group is for women of all backgrounds and ages to meet new people and make friends! We are open to all input and ideas to make this a group for all of us.
I would love to see this group grow and host a variety of events from hiking, crafts, plays, kayaking, happy hours, brunches, shopping, game nights - the options are endless so if anything interests you and you'd like to become an event organizer, just message me.
- This is a women's only group.
- A profile with a picture where we can see your face is required. It helps so we can identify you at events.
- Events may be small so that we can get to know each other. Please manage your RSPVs respectfully. If you can no longer attend an event, update your RSVP within 48 hours of the event. This includes those on the waitlist. Last minute cancellations are very difficult to manage.
- No shows
- Three no shows and you will be removed from the group.
- Canceling the day of the event, is considered a no show.
- Canceling 24 hours of the event, without any type of communication with the host is also considered a no show.

The Original Phoenix Greek Festival
Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1973 E. Maryland Avenue, Phoenix, AZ, USLet's eat some good food, watch some Greek dancing and listen to music. If we stay long enough and if people are brave, there is dance instructions at 4:30.
There is a perk for those of us 60 and over. Seniors over the age of 60 may enter FREE on Saturday from 11am – 3 pm. The cost for everyone else is minimal though - $5 (plus fees).
You can buy tickets at the door - and maybe that is the better option so you are not charged fees through eventbrite. but if you want to purchase in advance: Eventbrite Greek Festival Tickets
Details about the Phoenix Greek Festival
** The closest and most convenient parking is available in the church parking lot directly adjacent to the festival. The fee for parking in this lot is $15. Cash is required for parking.
FREE parking is available at the Charles Schwab office parking lot on the SW corner of 24th Street & Lincoln. Shuttles run every 15 minutes.
If people want, we could meet at Lincoln View Plaza at 3115 E. Lincoln Drive (at the corner of 32nd Street and Lincoln Drive) and carpool to the festival. Park in a far corner that wouldn't be disruptive to the shopping center. Add a comment if you'd like to car pool.

The play: WITCH.
Jen Silverman’s WITCH is a darkly comic, subversive reimagining of the Jacobean drama THE WITCH OF EDMONTON. It follows Elizabeth Sawyer, a misunderstood woman labeled an outcast by her village, who unexpectedly finds her soul fiercely coveted by a charming devil named Scratch. A witch, a devil and four poor souls in a comic showdown of intrigue, love and the fate of the world….what could possibly go wrong?
This is a small theater in north Phoenix near Cactus and Tatum. There is no assigned seating so we will want to meet at the door (early) so we can grab seats together. If people want, we can meet for dinner beforehand as well.
You must purchase your own ticket at Tickets. Tickets are $30.
Once you purchase your ticket, add a comment below so I know who has actually bought tickets and are committed to going. Also note whether you want to attend dinner beforehand or not.
There is no attendee limit for this event. The only limitation is available tickets to the play.

We'll start with lunch at Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row and linger downtown. If the group wants to stop for a drink at the end or middle of lingering we can decide in the moment! The day is ours!
