Welcome to the 50+ Meetup Group—where shared interests turn into friendships.

This is a private community of 50 + active, fun, like-minded adults who enjoy good company and new adventures. To keep the group positive and genuinely social, approval is required to participate in events.

Membership Guidelines (Please Read):
- 50 +, yes, you must be 50 years and older to join this group.
- This is not a dating group—though organic connections are always welcome.
- Zero tolerance for gossip, negativity, or sales/solicitation.
- Treat all members with respect and kindness.
- A clear, full-face profile photo is required.
- Members must list a Charlotte-area location and attend events.
- If you haven’t attended in 4 months, you’ll be removed—this is a Meetup group.
- All Meetup events are held in public places, not private homes.
- If an issue arises with another member, address it respectfully and directly before involving organizers.
- We’re acquaintances first. Friendships may grow naturally, but there’s no pressure or expectation.

This is a private group focused on active participation and real connections.

We periodically remove inactive members who have not logged in or attended events in quite some time.

Our goal is to maintain accurate membership numbers and better understand who is actively participating in the group by meeting members in person.

Because this is a private community, we also value creating a comfortable and secure environment where members feel they know who is participating.

We believe in quality over quantity and encourage members to engage, attend events, and be part of the community.
