Who knew there was a castle in Brewster!
Well lets go and have a picnic and enjoy the live music that they have only on the second Sunday of the month. We can meet up at the train station in Peekskill at 12:30 and carpool to the ferry. Once we arrive at the castle, we will enjoy a free 1-hour tour of the castle and grounds. After, we will find some place in the garden to have a picnic, so please bring a few things to share with the group. If you have any small team sports equipment that would be cool to bring, we can play while we hang out. There is usually live music on these days, so hopefully we can find close to the music for our picnic. We will probably head back around 6-6:30, depending on the ferry times and what's happening at the island. The tickets are only $45 for the trip to the island and the tour, which you really can not beat. Please only RSVP after you have purchased your tickets. You are free to bring guests, we can sort out who will drive once we arrive at the train station, and see what our final count is. Please bring $5-10 to contribute to the gas of the people who are driving.
