This group veers into Wibbly-Wobbly-Timey-Wimey stuff as we discuss this 60+ year old fantastic show!
This group regenerated from our prior one of 3+ years. Previously meetings were exclusively on Zoom - and online events will remain so, Pacific Time, Monday evenings - but we added more in-person themed meetups in the Los Angeles/OC area such as at the Disneyland Resort. In both event types we’ll talk about episodes/stories you'll view prior to the event, general discussion topics such as characters, plots, themes explored in Doctor Who. Or whatever you choose! This will be your group and is open to suggestions (we’ve a list from all members in the past 3 years with room for more). And with the show’s debut on Disney+, this group would like to be accessible to brand-new viewers too. Naturally, we mesh and crossover well with our sci-fi, gaming, cosplay, comics/novel, Disney peers.
All humans and extraterrestrials/surviving Time Lords may apply! But this is also a safe space (though we had to convince Cmdr. Strax that the word "Club" had multiple meanings). No harassing anyone nor repeat no-shows without canceling lest you get banished into the Void (not joking). Family-friendly though attendees under age 18 must have a guardian with them.

Join us in person for a trip to Black Spires Outpost, AKA Galaxy’s Edge on planet Batuu!
We’ll start off in Anaheim at Disneyland Park - their app converts your phone into a limited Vortex Manipulator allowing travel to Batuu!
May 4th is now a celebrated holiday, so expect to see many devout believers in traditional garb on their pilgrimage from Earth to Batuu. And we'll sample the local fare and treats!

Note the park hours, shorter due to a special park event (hence our nighttime trip April 25). We may cross-meet with other Meetup groups or cross over to DCA after.
