Ultimate Travel & Adventure Book Club – Where Every Book Takes You on a New Journey!
Welcome to a book club like no other, where each month we embark on exciting adventures through the pages of literature and explore the world in a unique, inspiring way. This isn’t just about reading—this is about discovering new places, learning from different cultures, following dreams, overcoming challenges, and celebrating life's greatest adventures.
Each month, we pick a new book that takes us on a journey across countries, through time, or into the depths of personal inspiration. Whether it’s traveling through fiction, discovering the culture of a new country, or exploring themes of love, dreams, and bucket lists, every book offers something special. You’ll experience the world from the comfort of your home, and perhaps even be inspired to create new adventures of your own.
What makes this book club unique?
Monthly Polls & Themes: You get to vote for the next adventure, whether it’s a country we’re diving into, a specific author, or a unique theme.
Reading Challenges & Prizes: Get ready for friendly competition and fun prizes tied to reading challenges that span various exciting themes.
Global & Local Connections: We explore books by authors from around the world, while also celebrating local hidden gems. You’ll not only gain new perspectives but also connect with kindred spirits from near and far.
Our Meetings:
Virtual Meet-ups: We gather once a month on Teams to discuss the book, share travel stories, and sometimes even play a few games to keep the spirit of adventure alive.
In-Person Gatherings: Meet us in Virginia Beach or Chesapeake, VA maybe even Norfolk for casual meet-ups where we socialize, enjoy delicious food, and forge lasting friendships.
Inspired by my own journey as a travel photographer and group leader, this book club is all about connecting people through shared experiences and stories. Even if you haven’t read the book, come anyway! The real adventure is in meeting new friends, sharing stories, and being part of a community that values growth, exploration, and, of course, a little bit of wanderlust.

Bring a book or many that you don't want anymore and swap them with something else. If you have nothing to bring you can get something after everyone else has a chance to go through it.
This is a nice social to have fun and relax and get to know others. Come hang and eat even if you don't have any books to share. Bring a bookish friend as well but RSVP please so I can make sure I have enough items.
