His original standup comedy instantly won over young and old fans alike. Almost immediately, J.R. marched to the finals of the San Francisco Comedy Competition. Like the rarest of breeds, J.R. electrifies audiences with his high energy storytelling and spot-on mimicry. When his guitar comes into the act, the originality peaks with his unique musical prowess.
Feature: A native of Hartford, CT, Tyrone Burston took Charlotte NC by storm from his very first show. His style is cool and unapologetic with charisma for days. His brand of humor is accessible to all audiences. He is one of the few comics who can thrive in any room. Burston’s jokes range from playful and self-deprecating to hard hitting. His humor focuses on himself, his life growing up in hard times, raising his own kids, marriage and moving to the South. His honesty on stage is refreshing and easy to get behind. Come join us on the patio at Paddy's to paint your masterpiece with Wine & Design! These are fun to paint with friends! The price is $40 and includes all supplies and a sip and bite from Paddy's! Everything you need to get creative! Please plan to arrive 10 to 20 minutes prior to the scheduled start time so that you may sign in, order beverages or food, and get settled. The artist will begin promptly at the scheduled time, and the session will last for approximately 2 hours. Space is limited for this event, and reservations are required.
