What we’re about

A Weekly Outdoor Adventure Group in Springfield, MO
The Odd Group is an inclusive outdoor adventure community designed for Queer, Strange, and Disabled folks—but open to everyone who values respect, personal freedom, and being outdoors. We meet weekly to ride, connect, and explore Springfield Our goal is to foster a welcoming space where all skill levels can participate.

What We Do
We focus on group rides and outdoor activities, with social time before each event for planning, safety, and getting to know each other. Our core activities include:
Mountain Biking – Riding at SAC River, Fellow's Lake, Two Rivers, and occasional trips to Howler or Northwest Arkansas (NWA).

Casual City Rides – Exploring Springfield streets, greenways, and parks.

Future Possibilities

Minibike/Scooter/e-bike Group Rides –

We may try hiking, kayaking, or rock climbing in the future.

Community Guidelines

No harassment or bullying – Everyone deserves a safe and supportive space regardless of skill level, ability, or what they ride.
This is not a singles group.
No drop rides – We stick together, no one gets left behind.
Respect and inclusion – Bring a positive attitude and help create a welcoming environment.
Planning before the ride is encouraged, exchanging numbers with members of the ride helps keep anyone from getting dropped accidentally.
Helmet, lights, and personal safety equipment such as armor is encouraged but personal safety is up the the individual.
Trikes are welcome, ebikes welcome but we won't be riding super fast.

This group is forming currently and I look forward to getting to know new friends. We do not currently have a set meetup day or time, but I am going to try Monday afternoon/evenings for now.
