Welcome to the Northern Burbs active adults! We are a group who love to laugh, mingle, explore and support our community. We are a mixture of single and married adults who just want to have fun and enjoy ourselves in the company of like-minded folks. We are mostly over 40 but we are young at heart. Our activities are mostly in the North Denver (Thornton, Northglenn, Broomfield, Lafayette, Louisville and Arvada) area although we have been known to catch a taco/margarita crawl, chalk festival, concert or Rockies game downtown. We get together weekly to support our local businesses and community establishments while building a tribe of friends. Do you like to explore local festivals, eat at new restaurants, listen to music and laugh ALOT? How about cheering on our local sports team, watching a talent show, or volunteering in our community? Want to see a movie or sporting event? Join us!

Italy has been on my short list for a while. So, this solo-traveler friendly trip is right up my alley. I have created a dream trip with the local experts who know just where to go. - Traveler Insurance highly recommended. I have an annual plan which is awesome! $499 for the year which is far cheaper than the insurance they offer.
- We are flying out a couple of days early to avoid jet lag. Our room was just $221 per person for two additional nights.

Thirsty Thursday at The Stillery and food drive
The Stillery, 10633 Westminster Blvd , #900, Westminster, CO, USLet’s go back to The Stillery for socializing and boot scooting. Not only do they have great food and signature cocktails - on Thursdays all beer is half off till 6:00 p.m. It’s a friendly and very roomy venue, including band area and dance floor. They have live music 7 nights a week but it doesn’t start till a little later so we have plenty of time to hang out and visit before the band starts playing. 🤠
It’s located in Westminster Promenade in the old Rock Bottom Brewery building.
Times are tough for many families right now and as we head into the holidays, a little help can make a big difference.

DAY 1: ROAD TRIP TO LOS ALAMOS, NEW MEXICO where we will visit
- Manhattan Project National Historical Park: This is where the atomic age was born. You can explore the labs and buildings tied to the development of the first nuclear weapons.
- Bradbury Science Museum: Offers interactive exhibits on nuclear science, space exploration, and the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
- Los Alamos History Museum: Dive into the town’s transformation from a secret WWII site to a hub of innovation
DAY 2: OJO CALIENTE HOT SPRINGS RESORT
One of my favorite spas is Ojo Caliente in New Mexico. Since I was a young adult, I have been running away to Ojo Caliente Ojo which is a refuge from the modern world, nestled amidst our lush 77 acres within Northern New Mexico’s high desert. Discover the benefits of hydrotherapy in our spring-fed thermal pools, dine on farm-fresh cuisine, and find utter relaxation in our waterside spa.
You can start the morning with free yoga by the pool. Your day can be filled with a hike or just relaxing around the spa. After a delicious meal in the restaurant and glass of wine on the porch your evenings will be spent around the firepit or rocking on the porch connecting and telling stories. You will have access to the spa until 10 pm if you desire a soak under the stars.
DAY 3: DAY TRIP TO SANTE FE, NEW MEXICO
Just a short drive to Santa Fe, New Mexico and you will find one of the most unique and culturally rich destinations in the U.S. The capital city is the oldest in the U.S. and full of art, culture, deep history and architecture. Oh, did I mention the food! Amazing.
